How to Reset Central Locking on Citroen C3

To reset the electronic key, follow these steps: enter the cabin and close the doors. The key has two buttons, one for locking identified by a closed padlock, and one for unlocking identified by an open padlock. Insert the key and turn it to switch on the ignition, press and hold the door lock button for about 6 seconds, then turn off the ignition and remove the key. Next, while holding the key, press and hold the door unlock button for about 6 seconds. Open and then close a door, then check the correct operation of the key by locking and unlocking the doors with the controls on the key itself.

How to deactivate the automatic handbrake on the Citroën C4 Picasso?

To deactivate the automatic handbrake on the Citroën C4 Picasso, turn on the ignition. Note that the handbrake warning light will be active; therefore, you need to proceed with deactivating the device. Lift the carpet under the footwell on the passenger side to find a lever that must be rotated counter-clockwise to manually deactivate the system. Once deactivated, check that the warning light has disappeared from the instrument cluster.
