Why the Start & Stop Might Not Work on Citroen C4 Grand Picasso

In this video, we see the problem of a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, which has a common issue with these vehicles: with the Start & Stop activated, when stopping, a slipping noise is heard and the vehicle does not restart; essentially, the Start & Stop has deactivated. You need to put the vehicle in "P", restart it, and then put it back in "drive". We examine the issue in the engine bay; the noise we hear is the belt slipping because the Start & Stop works with the alternator, and the tensioner does not apply enough pressure. In fact, after replacing the belt and tensioner, the system works perfectly.
