How to replace the alternator on a Citroen C4 Picasso with DV6 engine

To access the alternator on the Citroen C4 Picasso, you must remove the pipes leading to the radiator and the plastic elbow, then remove the auxiliary belt and unscrew the three screws of the tensioner. On the side of the alternator, there are two screws that only need to be loosened, not removed: at the bottom, remove the air conditioning compressor by unscrewing its three fixing screws to access the last screw of the alternator.

To facilitate the removal of the alternator, you can remove the engine support located underneath; by loosening this support, you can slightly tilt the engine, creating more space to extract the alternator.
