To replace the key battery of a Dacia Duster, start by locating the small notch or slot along the edge of the key. This is where you can lever it open to access the internal battery. Use a small flat-head screwdriver, gently inserting it into the slot, and carefully pry apart the two halves of the key without damaging the plastic.

Once the casing is open, you will see the battery, which is usually a CR2032 button battery, although it’s best to check the exact model before purchasing a replacement. Carefully remove the old battery, noting its polarity, and insert the new battery in the same position, ensuring the positive side is facing the correct direction.
