In this video we can see the results of the crash tests of the Sandero Stepway MK3, which remains faithful to the brand's "no-frills" ethos, and therefore has reduced safety specifications. The autonomous emergency braking system is basic, so it only reacts to other vehicles with radar and is not designed to prevent accidents with pedestrians or cyclists, and there is no lane-keeping support. However, the crash protection is more than respectable, and would make the car a four-star rating, if it weren't for the shortcomings elsewhere. Technology has made great strides, but Dacia has found its market and has decided to remain loyal to it, even though a final rating of two stars shows little ambition, even for a low-cost vehicle. Their policy of not offering a camera will soon take them out of the market, if they do not adapt because they will have to comply with the new safety standards, to which their major competitors have long since adapted.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening. To do this, slightly lift the bonnet, locate the yellow lever underneath, and pull it to the left to fully release and open the bonnet.
