Replacing the Key Battery on Dacia Cars

Model: Dacia Duster HS, MK 1 - Years 2010-2017

You will notice a small screw on the back of the key that holds the casing closed. Obtain a small cross-head screwdriver to unscrew it. Once the screw is removed, leverage the seam of the casing with a small flat screwdriver and open it in two halves. Extract the battery from its holder by prying from underneath with the flat screwdriver, and insert the new one you purchased, ensuring it matches the original. Close the casing by pressing it together with your hands and reinsert the small fixing screw.
