First, get in the vehicle and connect your diagnostic tool to the OBD port; then use the computer to select the make, model, and engine type of the vehicle (in this case, the ECU is linked via a code).

At this point, reset the errors or the oil light option; you will then see the light turn off on the instrument cluster.
