If you need to reset the service light on this vehicle using a diagnostic program, follow these instructions and refer to the video tutorial. First, open the application on your tablet or smartphone and connect it via Bluetooth to the vehicle. Then select the make and model, wait for the connection to the control unit to download the data, select the type of connection you are making, and initialise the procedure. Locate the list of existing errors and select the error to delete, turn on the ignition, and then turn it off again. This way, when you turn the ignition back on, the service light will have been reset.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
