A Small Modification to the Daytime Running Lights of the Dacia Dokker

To fit commercial bulbs in place of the originals on the Dacia Dokker, a small modification is required. Remove the bulb holder from the headlamp and free the wires from the protective sheath: you will notice that the two wires are different colours. Using suitable scissors, cut the two wires, strip the ends, solder them, and insert two pieces of heat-shrink tubing onto the wires. Solder the two ends, swapping the colours, position the two tubes, and heat them with a lighter to restore insulation. Insert the new bulb, reposition the bulb holder in the headlamp, and repeat the process with the other headlamp.
