Instructions for Changing Gearbox Oil

Changing the gearbox oil is a maintenance task that is often overlooked, and manufacturers do not always include it in the maintenance schedule; however, after covering a distance of 62,000 miles, it is certainly beneficial to carry out this maintenance, which is extremely simple and economical. The gearbox has two plugs: one at the bottom for draining and one on the side for filling. Remove both plugs and drain all the oil from the gearbox. Clean the drain plug and refit it with a new washer. Insert the new oil using a syringe or a funnel with a tube: the level is reached as soon as the oil starts to overflow from the plug.

Where is the Fuel Filter Located in a Volvo XC60?
