Location of the VIN number of the Daihatsu Terios

In this video we can see where the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is located, that is the legal chassis number of the Daihatsu Terios. When we talk about the legal chassis number, we mean the one stamped on the car's frame, so in this case we have to look for it under the passenger seat, in a cut in the carpet: here we find the complete number composed of 17 digits (so alphanumeric). We always remember that the numbers on the base of the windshield - called "courtesy frame" and used to move the car when it is without a license plate - or the one found in the thickness of the driver's door, which is a sort of "identity card" of the car and which is affixed by the manufacturer at the time the car leaves the factory, are NOT legal numbers.
