Starter Motor Replacement

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

The starter motor is located on the gearbox, just below the air filter housing. Start by disconnecting the battery and removing the cover of the air filter housing along with the intake hose, disconnecting the mass air flow sensor connector. Once access is created, you also need to remove the throttle body that interferes with the starter motor's mounting brackets. At this point, disconnect the cables behind the starter solenoid, unscrew the fixing bolts, and remove it from its position to proceed with the installation of the new starter motor: it is advisable to choose a refurbished product.
