In order to replace the starter motor of the Dodge Caliber, you need to open the hood to locate the components inside the engine compartment. Here, it will be necessary to disconnect the air intake hose so that you can access the underlying starter motor. The device will be located between the side of the engine block and the battery: you will need to loosen the bolts that secure it to its housing and then disconnect the power cables before being able to remove it. Once removed, you can insert the new replacement part and reassemble the air intake hose.
