How to replace the oil and oil filter of the Dodge Caravan

To replace the oil and the oil filter, we start by removing the upper engine guard, simply by pulling it; we detach the tube that covers the oil filter, unscrew the clamp of the air tube, unhook the upper clips of the air filter box and remove the upper box and the tube; with a 24mm socket wrench, we unscrew the oil filter cover and place it on paper; we raise the car, remove the lower protection of the oil pan, with a 13mm socket wrench, unscrew the oil drain nut making it drain into a container; drained the oil, we take the old oil filter, remove it from its housing, remove the old gasket of the oil filter cover, insert the new gasket and position the new oil filter making it fit into the housing; clean the seat of the oil drain plug, screw the oil drain plug with a torque wrench to a tightening torque of 45nM; screw the housing of the new filter back on; we place a funnel in the oil filling hole, pour the liters of oil indicated by the house, when we are approximately the exact liters, we check the oil level with the help of the dipstick (the level must be checked the second time that the dipstick is extracted) and if the level is on the max notch the level is fine otherwise we top up. Finally we reassemble the tube with the cover of the air filter box, the interlocking tube and the upper protection of the engine.
