How to Replace the Oil Filter in a Dodge Avenger

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the oil filter in a Dodge Avenger by following a few simple steps that will allow you to work independently. The first thing to do is to purchase a new oil filter from an authorised dealer. The next step is to get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake; lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Remove the engine cover, use a socket wrench with a 15/16 insert, or a spanner to unscrew the oil filter cap. Remove the old oil filter and install the new oil filter by pushing it into the cap (as shown in the video); replace the old seal with a new one. Insert the new filter into the housing and screw it in with the spanner, without overtightening, as it is made of plastic and may break. Reposition the engine cover.
