Replacing Ignition Coil

Model: Dodge Charger LX - Years 2006-2011
Part: Ignition coil

If you experience engine starting issues or if the engine runs unevenly once started, it is likely that combustion is not occurring in some cylinders due to a failure of the ignition coils: performing a diagnosis on the engine management ECU may reveal the fault code related to the misfire along with the cylinder number reference. To remove the coil, you must first remove the plastic cover under the windscreen, the wiper motor assembly, and the intake hose complete with throttle body, before removing the intake manifold located on top of the engine.
