How to Replace Your Car's Spark Plugs

Using old and worn spark plugs can cause significant damage to the engine, reduce performance, and lead to excessive fuel consumption. It is advisable to change the spark plugs regularly based on the recommendations in your vehicle's handbook.

Proceed with the replacement when the engine is cold. Remove the spark plug lead from the plug you wish to change and clear any debris using an air compressor.

Use a ratchet to turn the spark plug cap counterclockwise. It is preferable to replace the spark plugs one at a time.
