On a Dodge Caravan, the rear tailgate may get stuck, for example, due to a failure of the lock or a battery issue. In these cases, you can still perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the side door, then go to the inside of the trunk and remove the panel located in the lower center area of the tailgate. Next, locate the actuator mechanism, grasp it, and pull it upward to unlock the latch.
