To change the engine oil of a Ducati Hypermotard, it is necessary to follow some simple but important steps. First of all, place the motorcycle on a central or side stand so that it is stable. Make sure the engine is warm, not hot, to facilitate the oil flow. Locate the oil drain plug, usually located on the lower side of the engine. Place a suitable container under the drain plug to collect the used oil. Unscrew the drain plug and let the used oil drain completely into the container. Make sure to completely remove the old oil before proceeding. Once all the oil has been drained, reinstall and tighten the drain plug securely. Next, fill the engine with the new engine oil of the specification recommended by the manufacturer. Use a funnel to prevent oil spills. Finally, check the oil level with the dipstick and add oil if necessary to bring it to the correct level. Make sure to properly dispose of the used oil at an authorized recycling center.
