With the engine cold, place a tray under the oil pan and unscrew the cap with a wrench, paying attention to the oil that falls as soon as the bolt is free. We also remove the filter. We unclip the exhaust springs and loosen the clamp. We detach the central part of the drain to allow us to examine and possibly clean the filter hidden behind it. We are careful when we reassemble it so as not to twist it. We position the motorcycle vertically to drain as much used oil as possible. We screw the cap and the new filter. We reassemble the drain and the pegs. We can top up the new oil.

In order to replace the air filter of the Kymco Xtown 300i, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cover of the filter box, located on the left side of the bike just above the transmission case.
