Before starting, position your Ducati Monster 1200 vertically. Begin by removing the side cover of the battery.

Next, unscrew and remove the screws securing the terminals to the battery. Once done, unscrew and remove the screws securing the battery support bracket.

This will free the battery. At this point, you can extract the battery from its housing, completing the disassembly.

To install the new battery, simply follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
