To replace the battery on a Ducati Monster 1200, loosen the screws securing the cover of the battery compartment, located just above the swingarm. Once the screws are loosened, disconnect the power cables to remove the battery and replace it with a new part.

After it has been properly connected, reposition the previously removed plastic protective cover; then start the bike to ensure everything is functioning.
