In today's video, you will see the steps to remove and replace the rear brake pads on a Ducati 999, as well as on the 749. First, remove the central pin of the caliper to take out the retaining clip; then, use a punch to knock out the pin, followed by removing the metal pin, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the brake caliper bolts to detach it from the disc; then, remove the old brake pads and replace them with new ones of the correct type: clean the caliper of carbon residues before reassembly!
