In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Ducati Monster 1200R, a very simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then identify the battery cover located under the main saddle. We then unscrew the two fixing bolts with a 4mm hex wrench, disconnect both terminals and remove the lower support bolts with an 8mm socket wrench. At this point we can extract the old battery from the housing, insert the spare and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
