Today, we will show you how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Ducati Monster 1200. First, place the bike on its stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Then, use a socket spanner to unscrew and remove the oil filter cartridge, as shown in the video.

At this point, install and hand-tighten the new oil filter, topping up with the new engine oil!
