To replace the levers on a Royal Enfield GT 650, loosen the nut securing the lever from the top to completely remove the pin that attaches it to the side of the handlebars. Once the nut is removed, also loosen the bolt between the side of the lever and the brake or clutch cable. When this bolt is removed, you can insert the new lever into its housing, connecting it to the appropriate cable and securing it with the corresponding pin previously removed.
