Want to replace the gear knob on a Fiat Grande Punto? In this video, see how to do it: first, grip the knob with your hands and unscrew it until it is removed from the gear stick. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). For reassembly: fit the new leather gaiter with the clips, then take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console; screw the new knob down until it is fully threaded onto the lever. Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
