How to remove the roof of a classic Fiat 500? Follow these steps: use a screwdriver to remove the nut covers located at the sides of the roof (next to the frame), then, use a spanner or socket to undo the nuts on it. Once the nuts are removed, slide the roof backwards (as shown in the video). Undo the screws on the roof locking bar on the top and inner side of the car. Remove the roof locking hooks located on the car's frame. Finally, take the roof off the vehicle body and prepare to fit a new one with included locking hooks.
