How to top up the brake fluid on the Fiat Argo

In this video, we see how to top up the brake fluid in the reservoir located in the engine compartment of the Fiat Argo. This model, designed for the South American market, is the counterpart of the Fiat Palio. The brake fluid is a common Dot4, the same fluid recommended on the cap of the reservoir; on the side of the container there is a double marking with the minimum and maximum level. The level, to be correct, must always be just below the maximum: it is important to note that by definition brake fluid is not subject to consumption, and if the level has dropped, it means that the brake pads or discs are wearing out. It is therefore necessary to restore the level of the fluid as a precautionary measure, but certainly the remedy is to have the pads and discs checked and possibly replaced.
