How to Reset the Oil Light on a Fiat Grande Punto

After changing the oil and filter on the Fiat Grande Punto, the oil light flashes, so we need to reset it. Turn on the ignition and press the accelerator pedal fully down seven times quickly. Release the pedal and wait exactly 60 seconds (timing is very important), then turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on and check that the light no longer flashes. As indicated, timing is crucial; if the light continues to flash, use a stopwatch and retry until you can adhere to the timing.
