First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the plastic cover located at the top of the gear knob by prying it off the sides; then unscrew the screw located at the top of the knob to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, also remove the gear gaiter by detaching it from the base; replace the components with new ones, reassembling them in order and securing them properly.
