How to remove the external rear-view mirror of a Fiat 500? In this video, see how to proceed. Using a plastic spatula, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror; this is a very delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Once the mirror is removed from its housing, disconnect the power connector of the glass (press on the locking clips to disconnect the cover if it needs replacing). Finally, replace the damaged piece with the new one. Be careful to engage the plastic snap clips into the supports of the mirror.
