To replace the external wing mirror on the Fiat 500, you need to detach the outer cover of the mirror, which covers the connection support to the door. Once the cover is removed, you can unscrew the underlying screws, allowing the external wing mirror to be completely removed from the door.

This will also allow you to disconnect the connector, so a new mirror can be fitted into its place: this should be secured with the corresponding screws and covered with the appropriate plastic trim.
