Before starting, open the driver's door of your Fiat 500. Begin by unclipping and removing the cover of the external support arm of the mirror. Then, unscrew and remove the screws securing the mirror to the door.

This will free the rear-view mirror. Next, disconnect the associated electrical connector.

At this point, you can remove the external rear-view mirror, completing the disassembly. To install the new mirror, follow these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
