Let's see how to change the cabin air filter on a Fiat 500: remove the mat from the passenger side to create space, the filter is located behind a panel on this side. Remove the T25 Torx screw that secures it, then detach the upper part by pulling towards you. Access the filter door secured with two screws.

Use a flat screwdriver to free the wiring. Remove the two screws from the door and take out the old filter, clean the compartment thoroughly from dust and debris, and place the new clean filter in position, paying attention to the orientation of the arrows.

Close the door, reposition the wiring, and reconnect the connector that you detached. Refit the side cover and remount the mat.
