How to Replace the Key Battery on a Fiat 500

Follow these steps to open and replace the remote key battery on a Fiat 500. Take the remote and press the metal key release button. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to unscrew the tiny screw located in the key cover (where the metal key fits). Remove the battery holder, then replace the battery using a small screwdriver (get a new one of the same size and voltage). Fit the new battery in the compartment and finally in the cover. Check the remote's proper functioning by pressing the buttons.
