How to Change the Heater Resistor on a Fiat Grande Punto

Is the heating not working as it should? Here’s how to remove the fan resistor. Use a lever to remove the plastic cover under the dashboard, then unscrew the cover plate (where the resistor is located) with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector of the resistor (black), then pull the resistor out of the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble the cover and tighten the screws. Check if the heating is working. If it doesn’t work, check the fuses for any damage.
