How to Replace the Mirror Cap on a Fiat Grande Punto

Replacing the mirror cap on a Fiat Grande Punto is a fairly simple job that does not require professional help or special tools. First, you need to remove the mirror, which is clipped in place. To release it, adjust the mirror towards the inside to create space for your fingers on the outer edge. Then, being careful not to drop it, use your fingers to lever it out in the created space to unclip it. Once the mirror is unclipped, you will have access to the back of the cap where the clips that hold it to the mirror body are visible. These can be easily unclipped, allowing the cap to be removed by pulling it outward. After removing the cap, you can proceed to replace it with a new one, which can be clipped back into place using the previously unclipped clips. Finally, remount the mirror by clipping it back in, starting from the inside towards the outside.
