Replacing Gear Knob on Fiat 500 Abarth

Today, you will learn how to remove and replace the gear knob on a Fiat 500 Abarth. First, get inside the vehicle. Use a plastic lever or a pointed object to remove the upper cover where the gears are indicated. Then, use a socket wrench to unscrew the central bolt of the knob. Now, simply pull everything upwards to extract it, also removing the gear gaiter (which you will detach from underneath). Refit the gear gaiter first, then insert the knob, whether it needs to be screwed in or secured with the bolt.
