Gear Knob and Gaiter Replacement on Fiat 500

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2021

Using a small flat screwdriver or any pointed tool, lift the round top part of the gear knob, where the gears are marked. Unscrew the exposed 10 mm bolt. Once done, you can now remove all the various upper pieces of the knob. Extract the gear gaiter using a pointed tool (like a plastic wedge) to lift it from the base, and remove it completely. At this point, unscrew the gear lever if you wish to replace it; otherwise, reverse the process to fit the new gaiter and gear knob, reassembling everything.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
