Gear Knob and Gaiter Replacement on Fiat 500

Using a small flat screwdriver or any pointed tool, lift the round top part of the gear knob, where the gears are marked. Unscrew the exposed 10 mm bolt.

Once done, you can now remove all the various upper pieces of the knob. Extract the gear gaiter using a pointed tool (like a plastic wedge) to lift it from the base, and remove it completely.

At this point, unscrew the gear lever if you wish to replace it; otherwise, reverse the process to fit the new gaiter and gear knob, reassembling everything.
