Replacing the Poly V Belt on a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

If you do not have a lift, raise the car using one or two jacks or suitable axle stands. Using a 15mm spanner, move the tensioner pulley of the poly V belt sideways to loosen it and allow for removal. Once done, return the pulley to its original position. Check the condition of the various pulleys. Fit the new belt exactly as the old one was installed: to avoid forgetting the belt routing, take photos before removal. As during disassembly, slightly move the tensioner pulley with a 15mm spanner to insert the belt.
