Replacing the Battery on Fiat Panda

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. Always work with the engine cold to avoid burns. As you can see, the battery is located next to the engine bay, on your right if facing the cabin from the bonnet. Unscrew the battery securing bolt and detach the strap holding it in place. Now disconnect the negative terminal (always start with negative), which is black, and then move on to the positive terminal, which is red. Once both are disconnected, remove the battery and reverse the process to install the new one.
