Instrument Cluster Disassembly Instructions

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Dashboard

Disassembling the instrument cluster is a fairly simple operation: the first step is to remove the plastic trim surrounding the instrument cluster; it is secured with four Allen screws, two along the top edge and two just below the steering wheel. Once the trim is removed, lower the steering wheel fully to facilitate the extraction of the cluster, which is secured with three Allen screws: one at the centre above and two positioned at the sides below. At this point, pull the instrument cluster forward and disconnect the corresponding connector by releasing the bayonet lock. To complete the disassembly, unclip the plastic tabs of the rear cover and remove it if necessary.

How to Install Roof Bars on a Fiat 500L

Learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Fiat 500L. These bars are used on vehicles with or without roof rails. Assemble the roof bar kit (as shown in the video) with bars adjusted to the width of the vehicle (measure with a tape measure). Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the vehicle's original roof rails. Once the anchoring bracket width is set, tighten the bolts with a butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Fit safety caps on both sides.
