Removing the Gear Knob on the Abarth 595

In today's tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the gear knob on the Abarth 595, as well as on the standard Fiat 500. First, get into the vehicle and start by removing the gear gaiter, prising it off from the sides. Next, remove the gear knob by taking off the top cover of the gears and unscrewing the bolt underneath with a socket spanner, as shown in the video. At this point, insert the new gear knob of the correct type, securing it with the central screw; finally, refit the gear gaiter!
