First, lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; take a cloth to clean the top of the car battery as the adhesive part of the "OCTO TELEMATICS" device needs to adhere well.

Once the battery is clean, take the device, remove the film covering the adhesive part, and place the device firmly on the battery. Use a 10/11 spanner to loosen the nuts on the battery cables; connect the device's wires to the respective terminals (POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE) of the battery; tighten the battery nuts and you're done.

At this point, a red light will flash on the device.
