To replace the boot gas struts on a Fiat Grande Punto, disconnect the plastic retaining rings located at the top and bottom of the struts. Once these rings are removed, detach the strut connectors at both the top and bottom, accessible by opening the boot.

After removing the old struts, insert the new struts by securing them into the connectors and fitting the appropriate rings; finally, check that the boot closes properly.
