To replace the steering rods on a Fiat Punto, lift the car with a jack or ramp so that the wheel corresponding to the rods being replaced is not in contact with the ground. Next, loosen the bolts securing the wheel to the hub, remove it, and access the components at the rear. At this point, you can unscrew the bolts securing the rod to the wheel hub and the end of the driveshaft, allowing for the installation of a new one. After installation, reattach the removed parts.
