How to Replace the Dashboard LEDs of a Grande Punto Evo

To replace the dashboard LEDs of a Grande Punto Evo, start by removing the needles by pulling them upwards. Next, detach the backing by unclipping it from the structure to expose the board with the LEDs to be replaced. Now, remove the plastic covering the board by pressing on the four tabs located at the back. At this point, desolder the existing LEDs and solder in the new ones, taking care to observe the polarity of the LEDs. For the background, use the Plcc2 3528 cool white LEDs rated at 10000/12000 K, while for the needles, solder the Plcc2 3528 blue LEDs. To replace the LEDs behind the display, unclip the tabs at the back and proceed with soldering. Now reverse the procedure to reassemble all components.
