Symptoms of a clogged pollen filter can be twofold: the first symptom is difficulty in air flowing from the vents, and the second is frequent misting of the windows, so the filter should be changed every 10,000 to 12,000 miles or once a year. The first thing to do is purchase a new pollen filter; next, get inside the vehicle and engage the handbrake. The cabin filter is located behind the glove compartment, so use a Torx spanner to remove the three screws above the compartment. Once the screws are removed, take the glove compartment out of its housing. At this point, you will see the cabin filter box, so unclip the levers of the cover, open the cover, and remove the filter from its housing with the help of a screwdriver, replacing it with a new one (insert it downwards following the arrow indications).
