Replacement of the clutch cable of the Fiat 124 (1979)

Model: Fiat 124 MK 1 - Years 1966-1985

In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble and replace the clutch cable of the Fiat 124 first series, from 1979. First of all, we open the front door and start by releasing our cable from the clutch pedal; then we open the bonnet to disconnect the wiring from the transmission, as shown in the video. At this point we remove all the cable, together with the sheath, disconnecting it from the register that we find under the car; to do this we use a star key. We just have to replace our clutch cable with the new one, applying the reverse procedure!
